Getting reimbursed for medical expenses

Reimbursement of your medical expenses comes in two parts:

• The mandatory portion. This part is reimbursed by the social security system.
• The supplementary portion. This part is reimbursed by your supplemental health insurance if you have one. If you don’t, it’s not reimbursed.

In any case, a portion often stays yours to pay: fixed contribution of 1€, extra costs…
