Parental responsibility
Parental responsibility comes with obligations for parents towards their children:
- Obligation to protect ant take care of the children (give food to the child, give him/her a place to live in, take medical decisions…)
- Obligation to educate Parents who don’t give their children access to obligatory education risk penal sanctions.
- Obligation to take care of their children possessions and assets
Parental responsibility is assumed by both parents jointly (unless one is dead or didn’t recognize paternity).
Parental responsibility can be taken away from the parents if they don’t meet their obligations.
